Did anyone else see the 20 cops make an arrest last night on Canal Street?

After dinner at Peche, we dropped my dad off at the Marriot. Took a right onto Canal and hit a red light. All of a sudden, about 10-12 NOPD and LA State Trooper vehicles appeared out of nowhere with lights flashing and all. They all slam their cars into park and are running through all of the vehicles towards this one car. Guns drawn, yelling, fricking insanity. They get their suspect out of the car, and he gets escorted into a cruiser. My wife was fricking terrified. They were only two cars away diagonally.
