This story has to get old at some point. When will people realize that the man charged with carrying out the laws of the land is one of the biggest law breakers ever seen?

Does the public really buy that the only place a govt official's emails are stored is in his/her computer's hard drive??

Pebble mine crap?
Yeah I don't believe the mine should be built bc it's too much of a risk long term.
That being said, no way EPA should not follow it's own rules and try to subvert the process.

I think they do but half don't want to admit it because it would make Obama look foolish. Although he does that on his own.
I work for a small company and all emails are stored on an internal server. They can be pulled at anytime and reviewed. Same as my web-history. To bad the gooberment does not have a similar device.

Haha. I could understand folks with very limited computer skills not understanding but not someone who works at a desk in front of a computer all day.

Levin was talking about this last night.
Of course, there is the matter of EPA officials using PERSONAL email accounts for government business and that cell phones and text messages have also "disappeared. "

I would bet that if a govt employee sent an email thru a private acct but did it using a govt computer then there is some kid of record of the correspondence saved somewhere on the agency's server.

Yea, I want people who can't keep track of their emails having a ever growing and far reaching hand in running my life.

A better question is do the investigators and why they aren't educating a fairly internet savvy public.

Its total BS these things are happening, however blaming Obama is absurd.
You think the peons who committed the voliolations and their management chain were about to disclose damaging evidence that would get them fired and possibly prosecuted, but Obama said "wait - destroy the evidence"?
no way. its people covering their asses in the agencies.
If nothing else, this speaks to the ineffective, unaccountable, bloated government we have. That didnt just start in 2009.

When it started doesn't absolve the people who are currently perpetuating it. In fact, it makes them more culpable. They've seen it for thing long and haven't done anything about it? Absolute travesty.

DC needs to be blown off the map. It is corrupted beyond repair.

No kidding. I just think that the people who defend their guys by saying "this has been going on forever" and "he didn't start it" should always be met with your guy is MORE culpable because it has been going on for so long and he didn't fix it. Jefferson repealed the alien and sedition acts, just like he promised.

the problem goes far beyond one person or even group of people. It has to do with the protections afforded the federal worker - OPM. Its nearlyt impossible to punish or fire a federal worker what with grievances and all. Most managers dont want to even deal with it.
Youre talking a government wide HR change. Thats where the changes need to be made for there to be accountability.

Are you saying that Holder has not set the pattern for such behavior? The Justice Dept., controlled by Obama, could put a stop to such practices. Name one scandal that has been investigated by the Obama/Holder JP.
