In Cam Cameron’s 1st season as offensive coordinator, LSU Football averaged its most yards per game and scored its most rushing TDs in school history.

We now bring in the #1RB and #1 & #3 WR with a stellar offensive line.

Why are the expectations so low? QB?

While I agree entirely, I think people lose sight of the fact that most games are won by the line and we bring back a very strong line. This should allow a bit of a learning curve for our new QB and RB.

Willy B is wrong.

Last year, Cameron LED the offense.

I think we're gonna look a lot like 2012 aTm with a real defense

Does Les get credit for the best offense in LSU history like he gets credit for some of the worst as well?

If we had an experienced QB, it wouldn't matter if our WRs were inexperienced.

I'm really excited for this though. IMO they will be either adequate, or a complete surprise in a good way.

A lot to be excited about. I think we will do well. It's wise to be cautiously optimistic. And it's much better to be an underdog. We just need to play some games now. Potential does not equal success.

Look for a lot of short passes to slot and TEs, screens, and flares to RB's. They will throw the deep ball at least 3-4 times a game to make the defense respect it.

The deeper routes will have to develop with QB's and WR's experience. You just dont walk onto the field with inexperience throwing back shoulders and deep read routes with much success. That has to be grown like a farm crop. Dont get me wrong, I believe they will attempt them to some degree because you have to in order to get better at them.

I also wholly believe we will see both QB's regulary regardless of who wins starting job.

1000% correct.

Bama won the last four years because it had the best offensive line in the country and one of the best defensive lines and had the depth to keep them fresh. The only team that could match them has been LSU. But this years team was down on both sides, and the oline is nothing like it has been in the past. Talking heads talk about skill players but the war is won in the trenches.

If Les doesn't let his assistants coach are you giving him all the credit for one of the best statistical offenses in LSU history??? What an asinine comment this is!

Not enough credit given to Mett. Still a total group effort. Provides for good optimism going forward.
