I'm starting to plan my trip, and I was thinking this would be fun to do. We have an Ipic theater here in Allen, TX. Anything like that in NOLA?

So you want to do the same thing you do in Allen? Some how, that's so Allen.

It's a great place for my kids to go to school. Other than that, you are absolutely right.

ETA: So out of that I got a great recommendation and one dick weed, I'll take it.

You can try all you want, bro. I'm just a dude trying to have fun in NOLA. And I will, even with as much as it seems some people on this board don't want me to. I will have a blast and I can't wait.

Skip the movie and go to Colette since you're gonna have the little lady with you.

I'm sure he plans on doing other things bedsides the movies, he was just trying to make it a little more enjoyable since he feels he will have to go. I'm not gonna judge the guy for what he chooses to do with his time and money. Hell, I'd rather be drinking beer and watching a movie in Nola than be at work right now. It could always be worse...

3 to 5 minute walk, plus it's next to the Aquarium of the Americas, the French Quarter and in an upscale mall (Saks, Tiffany, etc), if your wife likes that kind of thing.

In all honesty it is too hot to do anything in New Orleans right now. A movie at Canal Place is better than a lot of options for "fun" in New Orleans.

Get the appetizer plate and a pizza and a big bottle of wine.

Hit up the midnight showings at Prytania where it's BYOB. Then bar hop back down Magazine afterwards.
