Mississippi has a couple of long rails to trails conversions. Only ones that I know of are on the levee's. Any others?

Tammany Trace is pretty long.

I just looked it up, it's 31 miles

Is the correct answer. It passes a block from my brothers' house. It's an old train track right?

That looks cool, might have to drive over there for a ride. Sucks I can't get to the levee from uptown anymore.

Not a rails-to-trails, just an old railroad bed that is screaming for conversion: LA-19 / MS-33 from BR to Vicksburg.

St Tammany Trace, no question. The roads here all have safe crossings for bikers with a caution light system at most highway crossings. On top of that, you won't have to deal with crime of any nature while enjoying your exercise and Mother Nature as you will be in the most secure place in the state.

I am very familiar with the St. Tammany trace.

Been on all of it. Walked its entirety in 2006.
