Rather than turning on each other, it looks like Fatah and Hamas are closing ranks. Netanyahu made no secret of his disdain for the Fatah's reconciliation with Hamas, and most experts believe that the war was partially motivated by his desire to dynamite the new Fatah-Hamas unity government, so this won't make him happy.

quote:

The Palestinian decision-making body led by U.S.-backed Abbas on Wednesday endorsed demands by Hamas for halting Gaza hostilities with Israel, a closing of ranks that may help Egyptian-mediated truce efforts.

Egypt has tried to get both sides to hold fire and then negotiate terms for protracted calm in Gaza, which has been rocked by regular bouts of violence since Israel unilaterally pulled out of the territory in 2005.

Hamas, which refuses to recognize Israel's right to exist, has baulked at Cairo's offer, saying it wanted assurances of relief from an Israeli-Egyptian blockade and other concessions. The dispute was further complicated by distrust between Egypt under President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Hamas.

In a move that could effectively turn Abbas into the main Palestinian point person for a Gaza truce, his umbrella Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) on Wednesday formally supported core conditions set by the Hamas-led fighters.

How could Fatah be for continued hostilities and Hamas not?
Seems predictable.

The devil is in the details. Bibi wants to maintain the status quo and the Palestinians don't. Don't be so dense.

Israel requested a cease fire so aid could be brought in and those terrorist pieces of shite couldn't even do that. They need to be wiped out of existence.

And frick you. You have no room to call anyone dense.

If Israel really wanted Hamas out of power, their best bet was to allow the Palestinian unity elections to take place. Hamas was deeply unpopular before the summer because of their corruption and the economic collapse after the horse they bet on (Morsi) was run out of Egypt. Fatah would've likely prevailed and assumed authority over both sections of Palestine, with Hamas in permanent minority.

Anytime Hamas(Obama's Allies) or any terrorist organization is thinking about a cease fire - that means they are getting their arse kicked, and want to cut their losses. Israel should keep leveling the place so those animals have no where to hide.

ETA: I was listening to 96.9 Baton Rouge Community radio this morning, and the show was having a fundraiser for the Palestinian cause.
It's a far left station but with good music. When I want comedy I listen to the morning drive.

When you call me dense, it's personal.

You're pathetic. If you're going to suck off the terrorists all day, at least acknowledge both sides.

Notice how when someone doesn't agree his Muslim terrorist beliefs, he resorts to name calling.

I have stayed out of this shite on here for the most part. But this guy is acting like Hamas is the first to offer a cease fire.

Most folks here wouldn't have taken my comment as personally as you have but if it makes you feel better, I apologize.

Aren't you doing the same thing you accused me of?
