Cory from Boy Meets World...Biggest zero in TV history?

Just like Full House, thankfully, I never watched that show during its initial run.
Unfortunately, thanks to Nick, my kids watch both of these and I had the misfortune of seeing an episode after he and Topanga were married and were being busted on by their friends for being a boring married couple.
Perhaps this was just a shitty episode or he became this way as the show developed, but if this was indicative of his personality, he is clearly the biggest zero ever (even the "resurrected" version of the character in Girl Meets World has more personality).

Dude definitely dated up. No doubt about that.

Speaking of Full House, DJ Tanner was a pretty solid social zero.
Also, Richie from Family Matters...not sure he was a zero necessarily, I just always wanted to punch that kid in the face.

The show's length of run and structure forced them to put an overabundance of problems (and subsequent reactions) onto young Cory. I mean, that's where the story came from, so he can come off as a major passive aggressive dweeb sometimes.
Still a good show and still a good character.

Call me a zero all day if I score a Topanga.

A little bit of both. The episodes after they got married minus the series finale were pretty God awful. And also in the latter years, a lot of the characters started to degenerate into unlikable douches.

Yeah, he had a curl about 5 years too late.

Eric is the obvious answer here. Starts the series as a smart, popular guy; finishes the series as an oaf who can barely function.

I'm just saying, his character went from hero to zero.

I guess that's true. Also, when he knows about art the episode where they go skydiving. Good call. My first recollection though was when he and his buddy were studying for the SAT and he was a complete idiot.

Well in fairness, at the beginning of the show's life cycle, he was identified as smart, just lazy.
Later, the show turned him into a complete and utter retard that liked to lick windows
