Big props to Mills for making it where he has. I never knew that he not only was "just a 2 star" but we were also his best offer. He'll currently be entering his third year as a versatile DB who can play safety and cornerback. I've enjoyed his play since his freshmen year. I hope he can continue his success and make him some money.

You are exaggerating on a lot of this. Mills was a consensus 3 star. Beckham was a consensus 4 star. It's as if you went with the lowest rankings for all those players instead of the actual perception.

Beckham was a 4 star everywhere and one of the top players in Louisiana. He played as a true freshman.
Rashard Robinson was a 4 star as well and was hyped by Patrick Peterson as being the real deal. We couldn't wait for him to get on campus and he started playing right away.

Lacoture and Welter were also 4 stars, I believe.

I don't see how I'm trolling... Mills has been literally my favorite player to watch since on campus.
I was just late night browsing and noticed ESPN had most of these kids as three stars. I just thought it was an incredible job by the coaching staff in hauling them in and getting them to where they are.

I see that. It also shows how clueless people are to think I'd be trolling about this or something when I have two of the people listed in my AVI and clearly listed as ex teammates in my Bio. That's what I wanted to do at 5am. Troll my ex team mates. Y'all got me.

well, in fairness, one person accused you of trolling, not everyone. Clearly ESPN isn't the recruiting service of choice. They went against most of the nationally respected recruiting services rankings.

Which was more so the point of my thread, that a lot of these kids weren't "highly touted world beaters" but still have made a fairly large impact in these recent years.

I get it that a lot of the rankings you gave were a little off from their consensus rating coming out of high school, but the fact does remain the Les and staff have definitely gotten some underrated players coming out of high school and turned them into fantastic college players that got drafted.
