Just an FYI, Southwest is offering $58 flights one way from NOLA to Houston until November. Gotta book before July ends.

Just thought I would pass along. Im sure some of yall can bum a ride home from a friendly and might want to take advantage of it. $58 might be cheaper than driving.

Gameday is coming....

Not sure if return trip is $58. I live in Houston, so I have no use for this. I didn't research everything.

Nah..

It's only 3.5 hours in a car. That's better than dealing with driving to MSY, dealing with the airport, flying to Hobby, dealing with the airport, and getting to your hotel somehow.

NOLA to Houston in 3.5 hours? Are you riding with Jeff Gordon?

Try 5.5 hours. Definitely driveable - I'd still rather fly

I was talking about from Baton Rouge obviously. Google maps puts it at 4 hours 8 minutes. And google maps is notoriously conservative when giving the time.

Not trying to convince you. Just a PSA from a fellow tiger fan. If it doesn't work for your lifestyle, cool. Do your thing.

Don't want to get into an arguement about travel logistics from NOLA.

It always takes me at least 4 hours to drive to BR from Houston. You have to factor in traffic in Beaumont, traffic in Lake Charles, and traffic getting into BR (unless of course you are driving at like 9 PM).

You can stop on the way back to NOLA. How much pig do you need for the wkend?

Unless the Sports Guy from NOLA only has friends in the 504 and doesn't know anyone that can give a ride home from Houston..if so, go bitch in another thread.

Why do people have to be so negative about everything? Flying doesn't work for you, cool. No one has to hear about it. Probably gonna be the same guy bitching about traffic that wkend on I10 west. And blaming LSU AD.
