extreme couponing
Posted by Gorilla Ball on 7/22/14 at 6:59 am00
Couldn't sleep last night and was scrolling thru the channels. Wish I could get about 10 minutes of my life back. why do these people feel like they need 200 rolls of paper towels, entire cabinet of soda or 500 bottles of vitamin water? I guess I miss the point - yes you can get about $500 of groceries but why do you need 300 bottles of mouth wash to spend a total of $1.32?

yeah its such BS. I don't believe half of it, I know its staged and I do believe they cut their own coupons though
I saw one where the couple donated 90% of the stuff to local churches and food banks. I understand that, but for the rest its pure gluttony and greed. typical American BS

we try to coupon and are budget conscious but why do they hoard stuff like they are waiting for the end of the world?

A lot of stores have changed their policies due to these crazy people. I saw a couple of episodes. This one lady had turned her garage to a mini-mart. She had shelves full of shite that she didn't need. What is the point?
I know that some of them donate to food banks and charities. A lot of them are just weirdos that get some kind of satisfaction by getting over on the store.

Pretty sure its staged.
Its the same as hoarding, only more useful.

Episode last night a guy literally had soda laid on its side and stacked from the floor to about 7 feet high - he was proud as hell of all this soda he had stock piled.
next time I will read a book.

I feel so sorry for the employees at the grocery stores who have to deal with those crazy people. I mean, these are people who are turning in so many coupons, it freezes up the cash register. And you know they give some poor manager making less than $30k a year holy hell about changes to the store coupon policy.

I wonder why everyone on the show is fat...that doesn't make sense.
Oh wait, they are getting a lot of food n stuff so they probably eat a lot, hence they are fat. N/M
