Related to Uber Thread: Other Industries Ripe for the Chopping Block

It got me thinking about cable and internet service, but the behemoths in that market have an absolute stranglehold on the government and infrastructure. It will be a truly great day for this country when that facade comes crashing down, but I don't see it any time soon.
I have two friends that started a networked dry-cleaning company with a pretty astounding level of success in the year or so since they've launched. Unfortunately, that model is only viable in maybe 15 or 20 cities in the country.
So what other industries could be plucked?
Gas stations? Portable refueling stations (that come to you when you call/e-mail/text) would be pretty interesting.
I think gyms and fitness centers might not too far off from market-changing disruption.
Transportation in general - even besides cab service - is going to be revolutionized when driverless cars become the rule. The impact there can't be underestimated. Logistics might be a hell of a field to get into in the coming years.
What else?

In what direction do you think this area will dramatically change? Between all of the gyms, personnel training places, and crossfit boxes, the damn market is beyond saturated around here.

cable tv
Would love to see it, but don't see it happening any time soon with the current oligopoly.

Cable companies and satellite TV are ripe for takeover. If most people could get ESPN along with a small smattering of other networks using high speed internet, they'd pull the plug on cable immediately. It's possible right now, but someone will come along to bridge the gap. And they'll get me for sure.

Not sure what the market is like where you're at, but here it is all flat-fee based rather than pay for use. I could see someone coming in here and tearing it up with a pay-as-you-use (like $1 to $3 for each use) model.
