I hope I can do this. But is there anyone who is hiring for a Operator job or any kind of job in a refinery. I am a Welding Inspector and been laid off for 2 months now and just looking for any help I can get thanks.

What about Pipeline work? Ton of it going on.

yea I been trying to get on for them. Usually you have to know the inspectors to be able to get on.

What are your qualifications? Just CWI, or any APIs?
Do you want a direct hire as an operator, or inspection work? Plenty of contractors looking for quality inspection personnel.

Don't know anyone who is hiring. But I know a lot of people who have gotten these jobs in Chalmette but they get hired as a contractor first.
