that's like one out of every 50 fricks leads to pregnancy?

quote:

As a method of birth control, male condoms have the advantages of being inexpensive, easy to use, having few side effects, and offering protection against sexually transmitted diseases. With proper knowledge and application technique—and use at every act of intercourse—women whose partners use male condoms experience a 2% per-year pregnancy rate with perfect use and an 18% per-year pregnancy rate with typical use.

somethings fishy

User error. They're too big, even with my balls inserted.

even if it does break 1/50 times

women can only get pregnant 5 days out of the month, so that's another variable that has to be taken into account

5 out of 25 days(5-day period) for 30 days total

so condoms would have to break every tenth time, for the 1/50 pregnancy

Baby sitters poking holes in them to keep their business ongoing.

Gold diggers poking holes in them to get their $$$.

This is all it takes...

it says 2% per year though

thats gotta be assuming a certain number of encounters per year

so its not as safe as saying 1/50 times

Women are also most likely to desire sex during those same 5 days.

I think user error, a biased fertile time frame, dishonesty after the fact, and breakages account for that 2%

I'd really be interested in knowing how effective this is. I'll put the O/U at 60%

Most women are only fertile for three days. The only useful thing I learned during pre-marriage counseling.

I'm sure a properly sized and correctly applied condom is 100% effective, but the reason the condom companies can't say that is pretty obvious.

They are most fertile during those 5 days. Doesn't mean they can't get pregnant the other days though.
