I love the idea but I see this being expensive for my O/U.

$1400 msrp and $200 stamp. Only thing hindering me from getting one.

Been watching "No Country for Old Men"?? Given the difference between shotgun shells and conventional rifle/handgun rounds, it seems like it'd be difficult to successfully reduce the sound signature of a shotgun very much. I noticed how carefully their website worded their claim. No mention of average amount of sound reduction.

"At its full length of 12 inches, it brings sound down to 137 dB at the muzzle — well below the 140 dB hearing-safe level set by OSHA."

Anyway, TOOOO pricey for me.

Yikes. I'm out.

I want a Benelli m4 shotty (the one in the video) so bad. Wouldn't mind the suppressor either.

I would put it on an Salient Benelli M4 or Salient Benelli M3. The only way I cpuld justify that supressor price is to buy a really nice combat shotgun.

I love cans but just don't see the market for this. It's too expensive and too specialized to be too popular. Hunters won't use it because of weight and tacticool guys won't use it because of price.

I would never think to burden one of my guns with something so ugly.

Could one put that on a shorter barrel shotgun so the whole rig wasn't like 9' long lol. I like the idea of it in a home defence setting...would be nice not to have to hear the full ring of a shotgun indoors. On a ksg would be intresting.

I would never use an Nfa toy as a serious HD weapon. Actually have to use it and you'll lose it forever. Plus, the prosecution will have a field day with it that will make you wish you died.

My Nfa toy(s) are for play and end of the world type shite.

If you do believe that the anti-gun tendencies in your area run a little too strong to risk a suppressor, you should think long and hard about the home defense weapon you keep on hand. Pretty much anything that would give you an advantage against an intruder could cause issues; including weapon lights, trigger jobs, upgraded sights, short barreled weapons, +P ammunition, etc…

I do not use any of the modifications you listed nor any aftermarket parts. I truly believe that my completely stock G23 and wooden stock 870 will protect me fine. I leave my ARs, AK, and other tactical weapons in the safe. I use Ranger HP bullets and Remington hunting buckshot for the shotgun. My flashlight is a handheld Eagletac that shines at 1200 lumens and laughs at weapon mounted options.

Do I believe that a SBS and fully custom 1911 would do better? Yes. Do I believe it's worth the risk of losing all my possessions? No.

I used to work for a gun store in Nashville. There was another store (it wasn't really a competitor, since they served a different market) where the owner had his own line of ammo, sold under the name "Blue Bunny." The guy was a Harvard Law grad and knew that prosecutors seize on things like ammo names ("The defendant obviously acted with malice aforethought, why else would he use those military grade PDX bullets!?" He reasoned that there was no prosecutor in the world that could credibly argue that you were a stone cold killer because you shot a home intruder with "Blue Bunny" ammo.
