The Last Ship was renewed by TNT

It was announced that TNT is renewing a few of the series presently airing and The Last Ship is one of them. This fact is a true barometer of the slim pickings on cable this summer. Worse yet, they're calling it a "blockbuster"...that's just sad.
Last night's episode was a wasteful consumption of time, electricity and wear & tear on my TV; I won't be making this mistake again.

I do not respect this though. There is no place on the MTV board for differing opinions.
But seriously, I kind of like The Last Ship so far. It's not great, but like some have said, it's a good summer filler.

Yep it's good summer filler. I like it well enough, glad it didn't get the axe like the submarine show.

Iv'e watched the first two episodes, but I'm not sure if I really want to continue. I have no problem suspending my beliefs, but the whole dynamic of how the ship is run on the show just seems completely unbelievable. Correct me if I am wrong.

All these shows that really can be wrapped up in one season end up living on forever and you never get any resolution from the initial pilot of the show. Just another Under the Dome
