Going to Denver next week for 6 days. Spur of the moment trip. Staying 1 night in the city and got a cabin in Georgetown (45 minute drive from the city) for another 5 days. What are the must do's during the summer time?

Always been there in the winter for snowboarding. Any help would be appreciated.

Hiking
mountain biking - rent a bike and get a pass to take a ride to the top of the mountain and go down
hot springs - sulfur hot springs is about an hour away, soaking....yeah

you only have one day in denver so not that much really to do.

Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park need to be on your list of places to go.

See if your snowboarding skills translate to the skatepark. Denver's park is one of my favorite spots in the world.

Man you did that backwards. Gonna be bored as frick in Georgetown for 5 days. One thing you can do though is drive up to Rocky Mtn Natl Park. That'll eat up one full day for sure. Would also recommend driving up to Frisco/Breck for a day.

All good suggestions.

Looking forward to buying some legal hydroponic for the first time in my life. I'm guessing it will be a weird sensation, like the first time a person comes to Nola and they grab a "to go cup" on their way out of a bar.

We will be doing the hiking. I like the mountain bike idea for sure.

We will drive into Denver for a couple of those days, so we are still looking for city suggestions.

I like Sancho's Broken Arrow. It is a Grateful Dead bar with tons of heady memorabilia from the jam scene. Air hockey and pool taboot. The owners also operate Quioxte's True Blue, another cool spot. Cervantes is a free-for-all if there every was one.

go to The Source. Just a cool place with a bunch of "artisanal" shops and restaurants. Crooked Stave taproom is also there.

Euclid Hall is a cool place to eat and drink good beer.
