The reason the SEC hates LSU

It's because we have the little SEC patch below the collar instead of the big one on the shoulder everyone else wears. They are pi**ed that we we think so little of the SEC.

Demographic.
SEC schools are in the heart of the Bible Belt. The other 11 venues and locations are filled w/heathen Protestants who are, per their religious doctrine, forced to hide the fact that they whooped up "yesterday at the game".
Meanwhile, at Mass all over south Louisiana, good Catholics roll into whichever service they can attend the latest, but still have time to run by Popeye's and make it home before the Saints tee it up.
J/k........actually, they eat a groton and white bean sandwich leftover from yesterday's jambalaya.

Southern folk are not known for their acceptance of differences from their own kind.
A common family from Alabama isn't much different from a common family from Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia etc. but is more likely different from a family in Louisiana.
Jones, Smith and Johnson type folk from the common south are not used to Landry, Schmidt, Linguinni type, more ethnic families from Louisiana.

in general if you think you are a fun/funny person. you absolutely hate the fact that there are people who exist that are more fun/funnier than you. especially if they show up in your circle of friends or around your GF/wife/SO.
we're the noisy neighbors who you wanna hate bc we're keeping you up at night but mostly are just resentful you aren't having as much fun as we are.
