Not sure what instigated this, but I thought this exchange was funny.

I see Fox Sports 1 personalities are taking blasts at the WNBA again. Good look, Fox Sports management. Real good look.

Nick Malone ?@Nickmalone9 9m
@richarddeitsch people just don't watch WNBA … 230k viewers/game

Richard Deitsch @richarddeitsch 8m
@Nickmalone9 That viewership doubles Fox Sports Live and quadruples Fox College Saturday.

Dietsch is a huge women's bball fan. He is one of my favorite twitter follows because of his snarky attitude towards ESPN and other entities. His obsession with Skip Bayless is over the top

That worked out so well it almost looks like Deitsch planned that exchange.

He is a media critic and writer for Sports Illustrated. The MSB should love him for his hatred of ESPN

Viewership may reflect it, but fox college Saturday is a good product. And it doesn't try to depress you on a Saturday morning with a Tom Rinaldi segment.

Erin Andrews is just not good as a host, especially when her direct competition is Chris Fowler.

With Fox making EA do only NFL, it will be interesting to see who they bring in/promote to host Fox College Saturday.

It's a losing battle for him.

I respect WNBA players for being the best in their field. But that doesn't mean it's a good product. That said, I don't feel like we're unnecessarily bombarded with WNBA coverage or anything. In reality it probably should get little if any national TV, but it doesn't really bother me.

Not really related to the thread at all, but you can choose to follow a person but not show their RTs. I do that with Buccigross. I enjoy his tweets a lot, but he also retweets what seems like 30 times a day (and I'm not talking about retweeting relevant, national people with good information, but rather common fans who would tweet at him things I didn't really care about). It got really old, but I still think he's a great personality and great on twitter, so that's the route I took. Again, complete hijack, but figured I'd just let you know.
