If you pay more taxes, taxes that that fund entitlements for poor people, then should you also have more influence* in the way things are managed in the national landscape than those poor people?

*Obviously rich people are smarter than poor people so they should be given the power to call the shots.

Look at the Kardashians, Kanye West, Paris Hilton, and the list could go on.... These people are rich and dumb as a sack of bricks.

Yes, those that receive more from the government than they put in should not be able to vote.

One citizen, one vote. Tough to enforce without ID.

No. Voting is a right for all sane citizens in good standing with the law. It is not a privilege to be purchased through payments to the treasury.

Anyone who receives welfare should not be able to vote. Women should not be allowed to vote. Everything in the US went downhill when they got suffrage.

Voter I.D. should be mandatory. The fewer people who vote, the better.

Yes.

I think it should be a system where the people who pay the highest rate of tax get the highest rate of vote.

Only property owners should vote on property taxes. Wouldn't bother me at all if each property owner got as many votes as his property is valued.

How does one determine what one has "received" from the government? Do you think your taxes have paid for every govt service you've received throughout your life? That's a really terrible argument when you get right down to it.

I don't disagree with this however. Non property should not be allowed to vote higher taxes on others.
