What are your thoughts on "The Strain"...

I haven't seen any threads about this tv show. It has some potential. It is not on TWD level, but what is. Lol. I'm interested in what they meant about 'love' being their weakness.

It's following the book almost completely. I enjoyed the novel, so the show is ok with me.
I'm having a problem getting past Some casting though.
Chiefly, The freaking janitor from Harry Potter is playing Abe Sektarian! Seriously

Just watched yesterday and I agree that it has potential. The daughter coming home to the dad at the end there was creepy and done well. Reminded me of the original Salems Lot which I'm a fan of.

Watched the pilot last night and enjoyed it. Certainly interesting enough to give it a try this season.

I read that they originally had John Hurt cast for that role, but he had to drop out.

i was pretty excited about it from the previews. I finally watched the pilot today, and while it was good, I enjoyed it. I was disappointed that its going to be a vampire show.

Finally watched the first episode and i liked it. The preview at the end of what's to come will keep me interested. I just hope they don't drag this out and keep giving more info on the old timer and his past experience with whatever is infecting people. I'll watch again for sure.
