I don't think you can read anything immediate into it. First, he's an energy/hustle big, something we no longer had on the roster with Jason Smith gone. So he just fills one of the slots in the Backup Center by Committee. Also, next season we may have to choose between Withey and Ajinca if Ajinca has played himself beyond a minimum contract, it'd be nice to have a new 5th big already in place if that happens.
