Xbox one is great ... Xbox one without Kinect suuuuucks

I'm at a friends and crashed on the couch in the den where the Xbox is. And without kinect it sucks. When Xbox on didn't work I had to actually find the controller to turn it on. Then on top of that I had to locate the remote to turn on the tv. Of course Xbox go to tv doesn't work so I had to find the app to watch golf. During a commercial break I tried to change channels with the controller. Denied. Had to use the remote again. So know I want to play FIFA and snap the tv. Of course I couldn't just say it I had to do way to much work just to get tv to snap and FIFA to start
TL;DR I'm lazy as shite and the Xbox one with the kinect is the way to go.

yeah pretty sure you already can.
if you run your cable through the hdmi I I would suggest it asap but if you just play games I would wait till they get cheaper or buy a used one

Cable box is controlled through the hdmi from the one. There isn't an IR blaster.

ETA: I have a Xbox one with Kinect... I disconnected it.

You are wrong sir. If I push my ottoman back six inches my cable box and receiver can't be operated by the XBone.
You can do a simple google search and see that there is an IR Blaster.
