silver and black with red... i caught another a lil smaller but didnt take a pic... but every afternoon they are cuttin up along the edges hitting dragonflies so i threw it out a few times, and just did a slow steady retrieve.

Excellent.
You'll have numerous species of fish from egrets, as well.

Pic 1 looks like a sacaperch and bream were knocking boots and an opportunistic largemouth walked in near the 4th quarter with the moneyshot.

The bottom one is definitely a hybrid.
I always called them "RockBass". They don't get very large.
The big one is probably not the same type of fish. It resembles a goggle-eye, but way too big for a RockBass.

The hybrids actually do get big. Up to 1 1/2 lbs. Drawback is they don't reproduce.

yea they are definitely different... the mouths are a huge difference and size of the fish is considerably diff too! the top one ive caught several of last year... this year we've been catchin bluegill. my uncle put 30 coppernose a couple months back.. i havent caught one yet tho.

thats what i thought... whatever the top one is, they definitely reproduce, ive seen em on nests and i caught way smaller than i put, so thats one reason im confused, but they are big, and fight like hell! the kids freak when one of those grabs hold!
