We have AT&T. The wifi modem they gave us year ago was good for its time, but I'm sure there are better wireless routers now and we have tons of devices with phones and iPads, plus Roku and laptops.

My question is, how do I get a non-ATT brand modem? When I research I only seem to find wireless routers.

All you really need is a wireless access point. Get a good Wireless N or Wireless AC access point and plug it into your Modem.

My wife bought some highly-reviewed wireless router. But it's worthless without a DSL modem. All I have is the ATT one, will ATT wireless modem work with the new router?
