I would like to use a 1st gen AppleTV as a source to stream music in my office

And control playlists and song selections from my Iphone.
I currently have a system that allows 6 different sources in 12 rooms and a keypad selector in each room to control source and volume.
How do I rig this up without a TV/monitor?
Any help is appreciated. TIA

Don't think this is possible with a 1st gen Apple TV. Pretty sure you can't interface with it through an iPhone. Must have a computer with iTunes.

I just read on the apple site that remote control app functionality was allowed in the 2.4 update.
