Has Uber temporarily shut down? No, Uber is the best thing in BR!

After that bad press yesterday, have they shut down? I haven't seen a car available today.

There's probably just not a driver logged in
There's not a lot of drivers and during the middle of the day in the middle of the week, it probably won't be booming with cars
Drivers don't work on shifts, they work when they want to, so it's extremely possible with such few drivers right now that none are logged into the system today

I actually need one at like 830 this evening, and then again probably around 12:30. What are my chances? I saw 2 cars driving around earlier. I saw 1 about 10 mins ago but nothing now...

I'm using it tonight for the first time. I'm stoked. Hope I don't get raped. I'll report back on my Uber experience.
