I know some folks disagree but I loved their burgers and sandwiches. Sad.

Wasn't a fan, hopefully something good takes it's place.

That is surprising. I never made it over to Finn's during the World Cup because I didn't feel like dealing with the crowd, but I'd imagine BooKoo made a killing during that if they were open.

I wounder what will open next.

Tried a burger there once and it wasn't very good.

I've been told that their quality plummeted recently

I'm hoping they find a place to take their spot at Finn's.

It wasn't a recent thing. The first few times i ate there, it was really good, the one constant was that the owner was in the kitchen(Lee?).

The next few times, there were random people in the kitchen cooking. An older black guy, and an older white gentleman. The food wasn't the same. Had stale nachos once, the meat on the nachos was chewy & tasted old. Another time the burger was way over cooked. This was like a year and a half ago, so it's been off and on since then depending on who was cooking

Loved it but I like Cullen's food. I don't think I've been to St Lawrence since he left.

That's sad. But the quality has gone down. Will have to swing by one last time.

Any shot that instead of hiring outside that Pauline will just have Cullen make a bar menu for Finn's?

Had this happen with the nachos about a year ago also. They weren't good at all.

The black was a guy but the white was a gentleman.

And the one time I went there I had exactly the same.

Ok, so this is going to be very hard...but all good things must come to an end, or so I've been told. Regretfully July 31 will be the last day of business for Boo Koo BBQ. We will be closing, not relocating but closing our doors on that day. I would love to thank each and everyone of our 1,597 likers....we had more but some fell off...It's been a pleasure to serve you all and honestly whenever I read a great review either on here or yelp they all really touch me. I would also like to thank Stephen and Pauline Patterson because without their help and support this would never have even been a possibility. This isn't a time to be sad but to think about all the great times we've had over the years and by all means...get your arses in here before then and have a pint and a burger before they're gone forever.
Again thanks and we hope to see you between now and then!!! Let me hear of any specials that you would like to see before then and I will do the 2 most requested for the last week....Cheers
