Few professions are more useless than real estate agent.

Sounds like you may need to take the class again.

I feel like it's the default career people choose when they have no other discernible skills or knowledge. All the ones I know failed at something else.

Residential Agents - a good one makes all the difference in the transactions, but they aren't in the same league as Commercial Agents.

The guy just got married and is about to embark on a new career. Is it so hard to not be negative or better yet encourage people?

I talked to my buddy who took the test a few years ago and is doing very well for himself now. He said study up on state contract law bc that part can get tricky and you can also go online to trainagents.com--they have a free crash course practice exam that is very similar to the real exam. Good luck man and I still say make a cheat sheet

Wife took it. You'll be a real esate agent, by the way, not a Realtor.

I know numerous agents that make over 100k a year. That ain't bad for people with no knowledge or skills.

well of course, you find a way to suck 6% out of the biggest purchase people will ever make, you're going to do well.

that being said, I've never met a group of people who seem to try and over-represent their income level than REA's
