Just checked out TD this morning for the first time and surprised there was a thread about Michael Sam receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award

Not really. Nobody gives a shite about the espys or Sam. It's like the mtv music awards.

Who gives a frick - he's a new Tebow-type overrated by ESPN player that'll be out of the league in a year. Of course ESPN gave him an award because his name isn't in the papers right now and pretty much everyone quit giving a shite.
If he wants to impress people, make the team, make some tackles in regular season games - show you belong. Don't rely on ESPN to keep your name in the paper and wind up on the SEC Network in three years.
