I'm a huge fan of Tag Heuer. Nice looking watch that will last forever. My suggestion:

Tell me about it, I spent a solid half day staring at watches, decided if it was taking that long I wasnt ready. Been a couple weeks, and I still have one in particular stuck in my head, so I think that is the one Im going to go with. My luck, its already sold and will have to start looking again.
Best of luck.

ETA: Broke- shoot me an email, I came across a breitling at a garage sale, picked it up on the cheap, like really cheap. I am questioning if it is a fake. Young chick running the sale, couldn't tell me a thing about it, no box, no papers, no story, just a price.

I'm tired of looking at them too. Can't make up my mind.

Do you have a smartphone in your pocket?

If so, it should have to time on the lock screen.........or somewhere easily accessible. They usually throw the date on there as well.

A good watch won't come off unless you intend to take it off, because it'll be double-clasped.

Tell that to my friend who lost his two-month-old Datejust on a rollercoaster when the bracelet failed. Some 16 year old Six Flags worker had a great day.

Also: State Farm insures watches. I have a stand-alone policy for $50/year.

Ok, I've sent every email I was supposed to from this thread. What did the OP decide to do?

I really want something where I can see the movement from the face and see the inner workings of the watch.

You want a display back, not a display front. There are tons of quality watches with a display back.

Broke, you familiar with Triwa? If so, what are your thoughts?

Those are my guys. I mostly worked with Andrea, but Rob helped me pick out a dress watch. Great guys. They even sent me some free swag.
