stupid, a huge inconvenience to the +20% of students who smoke, will never be enforced so the a-holes already breaking the rules before will continue to do so and make everyone suffer.

LSU sent me a brochure begging for money
i won't send them any of my money if they keep instituting insane policies like this one
and i have basically quit smoking (drinking still gets me) after being a pack+ a day smoker for approximately 10 years

I don't smoke and I think this is absurdly unfair and stupid.
Good question about tailgating as well? WTF they gonna do about that?

State school should stop taking tax dollars then. Smokers pay a lot of sales tax. Plus it's legal to smoke so

Bama allows smoking on campus. The CW made a push last year to ban it, everyone went "LOL No" and nothing happened.
