What movie? Under the Skin? That looks terrible (other than the ScarJo eye candy) - you've got a better chance of getting me to watch Sexy Beast - at least that had some "actors" in it.

ETA: But whether I watch the terrible movie or not - it won't make Glazer into a guy who could aspire to be a guy who pretends to be as good as Kubrick.

Well, now you're just trolling. You come in here with a strong opinion of something you know nothing about. At least watch his movies before you feel confident in your opinion.

He's not pretending. Damn good director. And, if you missed it, he has a unique style all his own. There are scenes in this movie that are truly mindblowing.

I know for a fact that Jonathan Glazer is no Stanley Kubrick - whether he's consciously or unconsciously copying or mimicing Kubrick's style (I have seen that in other critiques of his work) is of no moment.

I don't have to watch the Transformers to know they're terrible. I'm not putting Glazer in the same league as Bay - so hear me out - first off, again, I would watch Sexy Beast before the others, and that's unlikely.

My gut check on Under the Skin is a straight Species rip-off with ScarJo in the lead. I'm not a big horror movie fan, anyway. This one gets decent (or better) reviews. But I don't have to watch it to know that Glazer is no Kubrick.
