I am looking to display something from the source, most likely a desktop or laptop, to 4 different televisions that are located throughout the building. The TV's area all identical and each have hdmi, vga, and dvi connections. The content will most likely just be something that loops over and over all day. Probably will show a video and other information in text.
I see there are hdmi splitters. Anybody used any of these before?
Is there any way I could do this wirelessly somehow?

They're called kiosk or signage displays. There are a number of windows and android apps that support it.

i have an hdmi matrix splitter from monoprice that i've been using for a few years with no issues
matrix means you can have multiple inputs and each monitor can watch independently...but you may not need that feature
their reviews are trustworthy i've found
there may be some wireless ways to do it, depending on distance and obstructions

I have the monoprice hdmi matrix splitter also and they work well. Matrix costs a lot more so if you want it all to be the same source you can get a regular splitter and save some.

Read the description for this product... would you have to run an hdmi cable from one room to another? Wondering how this would solve the OP's problem... also curious for my own purposes.

My work does this with chromecast. When I go on YouTube on my iPhone I can even see it as a choice to display videos when I'm on the work wifi

Yes, it's fully wired
I have hdmi run from my living room to the bedroom through the wall and ceiling
It was my way of having whole home dvr before it was such a thing

Not sure how this would work. Is there a way to sync up multiple chromecasts simultaneously with one source?
