Cable/Internet Options in NOLA

I have always had Cox, but we are moving into a new house and thought it might be a good opportunity to switch. Looking for basic internet and basic cable (w/ HD and one DVR box). No phone. Stick with Cox?

They all suck. My advice is to surrender and live off the grid.

Cox is by far the fastest.

Go cox.... I have basic cable paid by my apt building and pay for basic internet. No issues. Except when they are doing all the construction on the building across the street and have to cut or tie in the lines or something and it goes out for short spurts, but never for long and hasn't been an issue considering I will just jump on my phone data if I need to pull up the net.

I will say that although I've had intermittent issues with Cox connectivity, their repair guy went above & beyond when he came to my house. Although I do think he was skeeving on my old lady

People bitch about Cox, but I've never had any huge problems with them...

Cox is really the only internet in town. It sucks, but any other service is goin to be considerably slower.

I get really good speeds with U-Verse in NOLA. Never had a problem after a year.
