I still go there every now and then. I don't like their breakfast as much as Hub City but the overall menu is better.

My go to at Mel's is the chicken fried steak breakfast w cheesy eggs extra crispy hash and toast with steens syrup. Best in town.

Well, okay, if you consider that part of breakfast. I'm more of a purist. 
Omelettes are a bit flat but I rock the Reuben, the liver and onions and oh yes, the chicken fried steak.

Mel's is too stingy with the potato chips. It's like I already ate your tiny sandwich you try to pass off as a burger and then the slap in the face on top of that is the 7 potato chips you give me as a side.
