But... Dedicated stealth mode. It is about fricking time.

Hopefully this doesn't mean ubisoft has amped up the number of tailing/eavesdrop bullshite missions though.

No shite. The lack of stealth in these games has been ridiculous.

I agree, they made it almost impossible to complete missions with stealth.

black flag was fun, but in the end, it was still a ubisoft game. I don't think I've ever finished a ubisoft game before.

I've played Far cry 3, assassin's creed 2/3/black flag and watchdogs and never finished a one of them

I feel the same. I'm not saying I want Pirate's Creed with every game, I'm just saying the way it played vs moving back to just one big city now. Like I loved how there was just so much random shite you could be doing just sailing from point a to b.

If you wanted to stop and check out this tiny island, you could
If you wanted to harpoon a whale, you could
If you wanted to check out this shipwreck, you could
If you wanted to sit and watch two ships battle it out, you could
If you wanted to waste both of those ships and take all their money, you could

You get my point.

Well from the looks of the gameplay vid you're getting that with this one. As he was heading towards the mission waypoint a friggin' buttload of side quests popped up, and not all of them were just "Defend this townsperson from the guards" kinda stuff we've seen before. There appeared to be some regular "whodunit" type missions as well as the co-op assassination missions.

I think there will be an abundance of things to do outside of the main quest.

One thing they said in an interview is that they want to get away from doing missions in one particular way and open it up to the player. we will see what that means.

I'm in the wait and see mode with this game. Loved black flag. I'll probably get Far Cry 4 first and see how creeds review is.

Well, I fricking hope so. I mean, if you want me to fricking tail someone, let me do something as simple as CROUCH WHEN I WANT TO instead of laying out one path of bushes/branches/pillars and rendering pretty much every other option impossible.

I finished Black Flag and WatchDogs. I don't think I'm going to buy another Ubisoft game no matter how awesome it looks. It will be the same formula with a different setting.

When will they be addressing the shite-show of a present day storyline?

And the map in Black Flag felt so damn big, I felt like I was wasting so much time just sailing around.
One of the reasons I returned it. The sailing and ship battles got old VERY fast to me.

Don't get me wrong, I've played every AC game as soon as they come out and I've tried to follow the story, but each one gets worse and worse storywise. Gameplay gets better and better, I just want some more explanation.

What platform are you getting it for?

I'm doing a wait and see with this one. As good as it looks, Ubisoft is Ubisoft.

1 version isn't good enough for you? The PC version will probably suck by the way so you may want to wait on it.
