In that case, I'd get a used aluminum v-hull if I absolutely had to have a boat. Doesn't sound like you should have one to be honest

If you all really enjoy fishing like you said then keep it and fold the kids into you and your wife's lifestyle.
Otherwise you will be a bitter angry man.

Mistakes happen man, i admit that, part of life, that how you learn. no sense in being a dick about it.

Like i said previously, just wait til the kids get older and save some pennies while i'm at it.

No, I wasn't trying to be a dick. I am pretty blunt and up front about what I think, and having $50k in debt with a new kid is something someone making $250k could do, but I wouldn't advise doing it otherwise. You know it is inevitable already, but you also know it sucks. That's just the truth about the situation.

I have made some VERY expensive mistakes, and that isn't something I plan on doing again

Understood, no offense taken.... We werent making far from that when we intially bought the boat, not trying to brag, but its the truth. Had a couple job changes, life changes (insert baby 1&2 here) and tadaaaa.... the purchase you once thought was a good idea comes around and prison rapes you.

KEEP IT!!!!! (If you can) It is a long term investment. When you are trolling around with 1 or both of your kids, you will be very happy you have it. I l ove taking my nephew out Speck/red fishing. Those are the best memories we have together.
