I'm redoing my living room and was wondering if any OTers had ever purchased a couch from there. If so, was it worth it? Has it held up better over time? Standard or down feather filled?

You can find the exact same furniture at other places for cheaper.

Just hung a new light fixture Saturday that my wife got from Restoration Hardware. $525.00 on sale! Regular price $695.00. It's a nice light, but no where near worth that much. Even the wife admitted it was way overpriced, but it's still hanging in my dining room. FML.

Tell you what, frick that store. That goddamn catalog is an abomination. I have never even bought anything from that place, and they send me 14 lbs of catalog.

Love RH designs but could never afford it. Maybe one day.

Check Joss and Main for flash sales. Much of their stuff is very similar w/ half the price tag.

Have you been to one of their outlets? Prepare thy anus. Damaged stuff is about 10% off that

Fwiw, I have a teak patio set and its held up quite well over the years. Their furniture is good quality, but slightly above similar build quality as far as cost. They have a unique style on some stuff that looks great. Furniture can be so damn hard to find exactly what you want though.

I have a 96" Lancaster sofa. I fricking love laying on the thing but it's a deep for normal sitting. Has aged greatly, no issues at all.

I did, about 15 years ago. Couch has held up. No complaints, except that when compared to online shopping, I overpaid.

It was a down feather filled couch. Brand I believe is Mitchell Gold.

I love RH. Can't afford 90% of it but I think we have a few lights from it.

I want all of their antique maps.

The Houston store is one of the most beautiful stores I've ever seen.

Don't know, but their stock is too expensive, and is way up right now. Wouldn't do it.

But my dad lives over there.

Any place that has stores in mall's is definitely overpriced.
