Why did the humans only have two people guarding the armory?

Why not send about 10 or 15 people there with powerful rifles out there. Just two people seems like a pretty bad idea.

That's why the apes beat the humans. Nobody wanted to fight.

Good point. They were two incapable drunks ontop of that.

Whatever happened to the black guy that was with them in the redwoods, he just disappeared.

Yeah, I was thinking the same....

How the hell do you have that light of a guard after multiple guards were shot and killed?

Nobody wanted to fight. They just wanted their power.

Yeah but you know they're out there. Just beef up security so this doesn't happen. Seriously Koba and his crew try to raid the armory only to be met by unholy amount of gunfire and a tank.

Ammo
Yea I wouldn't disagree with that. I was so enthralled with the movie at that point, I didn't even notice that the apes didn't reload. I guess I can assume they did off camera?

Well initially those guys were out there just testing the equipment. They were monitoring the backdoor. It wasn't like the humans expected them to come back. Even then, to those two it was just one rogue monkey that they thought was just an idiot so even if they told anyone it was like well it's just one imbecile baboon.

Those two guys were just in the back testing the weapons. There were other guys there in the front bringing them weapons and loading stuff.

When the apes actually attack the armory you see like 5-10 guys there loading up and messing with the tank but it's not suggested if anyone else is there or not. It only shows the apes rush and get everybody besides the one black guy who hides under the tank and somehow escapes and tells the people

my problem with it was why didn't the damn building fall down? It was like the only reason that was even in there was to make the final fight more interesting with shite falling around.

Also yeah, the black dude disappeared.

I wondered why that explosion was so underwhelming myself. That probably killed more humans than apes, but maybe they didn't get to put as much c4 down as they wanted because clarke stopped them

They definitely overestimated that C4 charge, but was anybody an explosions expert?

Replying to the OP...

I think that even with the horses and the spears and the speech, they still considered them to be stupid apes (as you saw with the morons that Koba killed off).

No one thought that the apes would have the intelligence to go for the guns prior to battle.

even so having your armory so far away from your main defense area seems pretty damn stupid
