How would you "fix" Baton Rouge

Imagine yourself as an absolute dictator of East Baton Rouge Parish with a limitless budget for infrastructure improvements. What would you fix and why? What would be some of your pet projects?

Build a wall along the North Side of Florida Blvd, armed guards letting certain people in, but nobody comes out.

First would be to build a bypass around BR
Another bridge between Sunshine and New Bridge
Impose strict building codes, moving forward, and clean up Airline Highway & Florida Blvd.
Use prisoners on a weekly basis to keep roads/interstate clean and landscape done regularly.

Bulldozer is the correct answer. The layout of our streets is awful and no amount of projects will fix the traffic problems here.

The NIMBY's would hate me but:
- go on a street connecting spree, not afraid to exercise eminent domain in attempt to develop a competent street grid
- more sidewalks and bike lanes
- southern loop with new bridge
- moratorium on widening of streets (get away from the collector street concept)

First thing I'd do is revoke all drivers licenses and make every single citizen take a 50 hour class on how to drive without your head being up your arse, then slowly change the laws of the land that would prohibit me from executing aggressive drivers.
Second, I'd build a bypass around Baton Rouge similar to what Birmingham did with Interstate 459 as seen here:
Next I'd add one lane to each direction of every major road and tell all the crybabies to frick themselves because I'm supreme dictator.
Also, I'd hire a bunch of busses to ship the NOLA trash back home.
