Anybody fished Irish Bayou lately?

I'll be heading over there a few afternoons this week after work to get some slime on the new yak. Never fished here before but I gotta go somewhere to make sure this thing floats. Anybody catch anything fish related over there lately?

Went a few weeks ago. First time there. We were in a boat, so we went much further than you would in a kayak. On the way in, however, we caught reds and bass in the grass before you get into the lake. We caught them on gold spoons and scum frog poppers.
