What is the $1 Safe Rides Fee that is being added to every fare?

Is this going to BRPD to offset lost DWI revenue?

And you Sir. Don't be a jerk. Yes, I could have Googled it but we are in a bar and this was a combined Uber / people talking about TD effort. I was demo'ing the power of the board. Did I ever indicate a dislike for Uber? Hell, they brought me here for brunch. Will take them home. Don't be a grump your whole life.
