We haven't done this in a while.
All ye who lay down their opinions and confess their sins before this board of their peers shall be absolved.
#1: I like Iron Man 2. It's a great superhero movie. If you hate Iron Man 3 for being a bad superhero movie, you can't also hate Iron Man 2.
#2: I think people praise Chris Nolan's Batman for the same reason they hate Snyders Man of Steel. It's different. That's good. Remember, we already tried to do the same thing with Superman Returns.
#3: I think it is possible to be a fan of Adam West, Michael Keaton, and Christian Bales versions of the Caped Crusader. All three have their merits.
#4: Mad Men > Breaking Bad in every way except for the performance of Bryan Cranston. I will admit that my opinion of this could be soured by binge watching BB while network watching Mad Men. That's not to take anything away from the quality of either show.
Please forgive me of my sins.

You first point doesnt make any sense.
I think people hated MoS because it lacked substance. That can't be said for Nolan's batman films.

#1: I thought the trailer for the Green Lantern was EPIC, not so much when I finally saw the movie
#2: Inception is a film I can watch over and over again anywhere at anytime. It's always on my iPad.
#3: I cannot stand people who don't have valid criticisms about movies they don't like. Example: My friend hates Transformers because it had too many moving parts and it "looked" real. He would rather have it be the 5-7 moving blocks from the cartoons. He also hates CGI, like the Apes from Rise/Dawn of the planet of the Apes....yet he likes Avatar's CGI.
#4: I finally saw a Wes Anderson film last night (The Grand Budapest Hotel) and I loved it. I need to catch up on his other films.

I'm not a Breaking Bad fan either. That's apparently unforgivable about these parts.
I think The Killing, despite it's floundering early on, could've developed into a fantastic show the way Season 3 went. I hate that it got cancelled.
Black Sails is another show I enjoy. A lot. And it's not boring to me.

I tried watching Mad Men, twice, but could never get past the first two episodes. It just wasn't for me.
I've watched all of The Wire except the last season. I got a couple episodes in and lost interest, though I want to try again some day. I also didn't think too highly of the season before that.
I'm also way behind on the latest season of The Americans.

There hasn't been a year where DiCaprio deserved an Oscar over his competition despite the internet's continued insistence that he should have one.
Monty Python and The Holy Grail is clever but not really that funny.

I liked Avatar. It is not a movie I can watch multiple times, but I enjoyed it. I will watch the sequel when it comes out. Probably in 3D.

-I think Breaking Bad, while a solid show, is heavily overrated.

I think drive is the worst movie I have ever seen
I like everything carson hates
I have never seen the Godfather (I know I know)
I couldnt get into the wire.
I think Mad Men is boring. I believe it is good if you kinda grew up in that era and thats about it

Now this is a legit controversial opinion you're not allowed to have on the internet

At this moment, I'm halfway through The Godfather..
This is the first time I've ever seen this movie.

quote:Disagree. One of the biggest reasons I love the show is it gives me a glimpse of what that time period was like and how people interacted with each other and how women and minorities were treated.

I have never watched:
-any of the Jurassic Park movies

-any of the X-Men movies
-any of the Fast and Furious movies
-any of the Godfather movies

Now that I've admitted that.....which ones should I watch first?

M. Night
If I watch one of these five M. Night Movies:
Sixth Sense
Unbreakable
Signs
The Village
Lady in the Water
I have to watch at least one of the others. My 2 favs are Signs and Lady in the Water. The Sixth Sense is the only one I don't own and have only seen it twice. Comparatively, I've seen Lady in the Water about six times.
Matrix
I liked and own every Matrix film.
