I think he's being very honest with himself. He's an Arsenal fan.

I have no doubt PSG may continue to be relevant on the European scene. They do only have to win in Ligue 1 after all. But don't act like you're among the Real Madrids and deserve to win every game and if you don't it is a huge error.

Maybe Chelsea got some luck tonight. Maybe PSG isn't as good as you think. Maybe Chelsea played better than you want to give credit for. Maybe Chelsea knows how to defend better and limit an opponent to 1 goal on 14 opportunities where as PSG lets in half the chances (We know the stories on Chelsea's bus and saw PSG's lack thereof over the weekend). When I put it as 1/14 vs 1/2, who does it sound like had a better game? Stats can be deceiving in that way. No matter which of these was the case tonight it won't matter in the next meeting. The only that matters will be the scoresheet of that game.

Every game, no. This game, yes.

If Chelsea had been the better team I would have no problem admitting it.

I love Jose but he has got to change his approach in games where we take a 1-0 lead with this squad. For whatever reason they can not kill the games off like his great Chelsea teams of a decade ago just by sitting back on the lead and defending.

So many big games this year we have gone ahead only to draw 1-1 or in some cases get end up getting thrashed (Spurs and Bradford).

Get out of this thread. Chelsea is nearly unbeatable at home. It took 77 league matches for a team to beat Mourinho at home. This season, Bradford is the only team to win at Stamford Bridge and as great as they were, that was a total fluke. If you played the same match again 20 more times, Chelsea wins every single time.

And you said less than 15 years ago Chelsea was little better than QPR. Chelsea won the FA Cup twice, the league cup once, the cup winners cup, the super cup and the community shield all between the mid-90s and when Abramovich took over.

And trying to pretend Cabaye is a huge loss next to Lucas is just dumb. Do you even watch your own team's games? He's started 2 games in the league. TWO. He has started ZERO in the Champions League.

Bottom line, PSG isn't even winning a league they have no business NOT being ahead by 10+ points in.

That's what scared me the most about this draw. PSG don't care about the League because they can easily turn it on and win it whenever they want. The CL is their only focus and that makes them especially dangerous.

I see it like this, Chelsea is getting by right now by the hair on their chins due to the Cesc injury and Costa's suspension. It's been the Ivanovic show the last few matches. You can't continue to rely on that to win games.

PSG is going to go into Stamford Bridge with a head full of steam and it's going to be constant wave after wave, I would guess. If Costa and Cesc can get warmed up and get a couple assists or goals each the I think it will be Chelsea all day. However, if that doesn't happen than I could honestly see the second league being a total toss up.

Mourinho has to go into that match, IMO, thinking he'll need two, and at the very least one goal, to move on to the quarterfinals and it really wouldn't surprise me to see him somewhat play a defensive match, like he did versus City after the Remy goal.

You'd think they would be in good form but they're third in Ligue 1. If they continue that then they may easily not have a head full of steam.

Costa and Cesc

Should be much better on point. They will not be coming off a suspension or flu like they had in Paris. Plus the team as a whole will not be traveling this time. Every game between now and the PSG game will be in London.

I agree two will be the goal. However, I think we have a good shot with just 1 goal.

I think that's a bit overstated. They would be tied at the top with Lyon had they not finished the Caen game with nine men.

For sure, barring some injury setback, or just a loss of form I expect them both to be firing on all cylinders. But, Ibra is also just now getting back to full fitness.

I'm really excited to watch the second leg of this match up and I hate Chelsea.

Possibly. They draw teams way more than expected however.

Chelsea will look to be having everyone on good fitness, without a game the weekend prior to the return leg. I hope Ibra is full strength, he is a menace but enjoyable to watch.

I'm excited as well. It should be a great second leg.

Come on Chelsea!

1. It should have been a straight red. No questions asked. He almost broke his leg.

2. How was it not even a yellow? He committed 4 tackles that get you carded in any game.

3. What was Atkinson watching on the penalty shouts? He was PERFECTLY positioned on both of them.

Matic has got to keep his cool. I think his reaction distracted from the initial foul. Barnes may have been more severely punished. Sucks to drop points at home, just got to move on.

Matic feeds his children with that leg. I don't blame him one bit.
