I guess if you're desperate to find a silver but that's a loser way to look at it. I could get on board a little more with that type of statement in the League Cup but the FA Cup is still a big deal and to go out like that is, as Jose said it would be, a disgrace.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic, Randy. That shite is bad... At the same time, what are we gonna do? Still got to win the games ahead of us.

My bad, hard to tell. Some people really feel that way. One of our announcers said it and the other one got on to him pretty good.

On the bright side, Bamfordinho knocked City out today. Scored the first, set up the second.

The Bradford goals were all legit...it isn't like they were unearned. The 3rd one came off a Cech deflection but they seemed like solid strikes based on the highlights I saw.

Unacceptable but it is time to move on...

Hell if we are out I'd rather City be in playing the extra games.

I heard Jose shook the hand of EVERY player for Bradford. He said they earned it. Maybe this was his say of being classy while also making a statement to our squad. Mind games, whatever works.

Jose gonna have the boys ready today?

If he, and this team, have the mental makeup I think that they do Saturday's embarrassment should mean good things for today and Saturday.

quote:

He couldn’t have asked any more of his players in terms of their efforts
‘They gave everything. Ivanovic’s boot should be put in the lobby of the Academy, so the kids can see a boot completely full of blood. His foot with the big cut and lots of stitches cannot go there, but the boot, which is white, is full of red blood and should go to the Academy, but that’s just one example. They gave absolutely everything.’

From Mourinho's post game stuff. Shows even more what a badass Ivanovic is.

quote:

The Blues boss said three of his players picked up injuries
‘Branislav could finish the game, Fabregas and Filipe couldn’t. Filipe was a calf problem, Fabregas was his hamstring. Everybody’s happy, the group deserves it and we are happy to go to the final.’
Also sounds like good news on the injuries.

quote:

Mourinho gave his assessment of Diego Costa’s tussle with Emre Can in the first half, and said he was particularly upset with comments made by a SKY television pundit who he refused to name
‘I prefer not to speak about the penalty, I’ll leave it with you because if I speak I will be in trouble and I don’t want to be in trouble.

‘What you call a ‘stamp’ and SKY call a ‘crime’, I have to say was completely accidental. He [Diego Costa] goes to the ball, chases the ball and the opponent is on the floor. They have contact and he puts his foot there when he’s looking to get the ball.

‘These guys [pundits] have a very good seat, very good money, no pressure, they are always right, they never lose, they always win but they have to be fair and they have to be honest. But, forget it, let’s go to Wembley.’

And his most anticipated answer.

Also wanted to throw this out there.

The real question: Is Mou going to make Zouma a permanent fixture in the first team.
