How historical a Cleveland title would be in terms of James' legacy

If you look at a list of tv markets, you'll be hard-pressed to find an instance where a top-tier player chose to go to a market smaller than Miami and won a title, much less two. Miami is #16; Cleveland is #17.
Milwaukee, Point B of Oscar Robertson, had drafted Alcindor; that's the closest example I can think of.
San Antonio also stands out as the most successful franchise in the post-Jordan era and in the #37 North American tv market, but both their top tier players were drafted.
NBA Markets smaller than Miami and Cleveland:
Denver
Orlando
Sacramento
Portland
Charlotte
Indiana
Utah
Milwaukee
San Antonio
Oklahoma City
Memphis
New Orleans

It would be great for his legacy. I think he would be loved by many and most will have forgiven him for his Miami Heat charade. It would be such an awesome story and Cleveland deserves it.
He has a chance to cement his legacy as the second greatest basketball player to ever live.

There would definitely be books and movies made about that title locally in Cleveland.
From a national standpoint it would depend on how good the team was compared to other teams that won it all.

His legacy would've been so much better if he stuck it out with Cleveland

When all the all-time greats get together and play golf and boast about their accomplishments, Lebron wins the pissing contest when he says, "Aight lemme aks y'all this: who here can say they brought a title to Cleveland? Me, son. Suck my dick."

Since they won that 1964 NFL Title there has been way too many heartbreaks for that city. It'd be an incredible story for him.

If Lebron can bring a title to Cleveland, freaking Cleveland, then Lebron can bring world peace.

He wouldn't have ever won a title with Cleveland because they would have continued to do a shite job of putting players around him and they'd have none of those #1 draft picks.

You need to send this on blast to the sports media. They're running out of ways to deify LeBron for going back to his original team.

More titles always helps.
Would it mean something extra just because it was Cleveland? Maybe for a year or two until everybody ran that angle into the ground and the rest of the world starts to wonder why they should give a crap in the first place that some random city finally got one.
And, of course, it also depends on how many Super Bowl MVPs Johnny Football gets first.

The King is a Ray Allen 5 seconds to go, 3 point shot miss from being 1-3 in the Finals. And this is with his hand picked team.

Why does everyone keep saying this? Seriously question all I know cleveland as is shitty sports teams. Is there some horrible thing i am missing? I feel like everyone thinks their team "deserves" it

This could be said of any championship winner or loser. The Pats are one fluke escape and catch from an undefeated season...Rangers one strike from a World Series title...Texas one Reggie Bush fumble away from losing, etc. Luck is part of winning, it happened the way it did and that's it.
Hell Peyton Manning has a terrible playoff record and 1-2 in Super Bowls, but we all still think of him as one of the all time greats.
LeBron bringing a title there solidifies it imo, top 5 all time no question. Imagine if he brings multiple ones.

He will win zero championships in Cleveland. The melt when he bolts in three years AGAIN. .. will be epic
