Check with Mallett buildings in Iowa, LA b/t Lacassine and Lake Charles. They do metal building packages that the frame is all treated and the roof and wall panels are regular metal building R-panels. From what I have seen they put out a really nice building and it's easier for you to do the entire thing to really save some money. If you are going to go regular metal building (muller, majestic, etc) then your probably looking $8/sf for the building, $3-4/sf to erect it and if you sub your slab out it will be around $5-$6/sf. Al that being said a turn key building on a slab will run you around $12,000-$16,000. If this was my project I could do it for myself for $8,000-$10,000.

Husband just bought a composite from Sears, bout $700. Had a metal one in the past and rust was a problem plus I think he had to build a platform/floor for it. The composite is all inclusive.

sounds like he bought a toy house. $700 won't get you much these days.
