For consecutive appearances with a strike out. 40 in a row and counting.

Damn. I would've thought Randy Johnson or Nolan Ryan would've had more than that. Impressive.

My favorite player. I went to an Astros game with my boy one time. It was his birthday. Chapman struck out the side. I was giddy with excitement.

It is the record for a reliever. Chapman was also fourth on the list. He struck out the side tonight finishing batters with fastballs at 101, 102, and 103.

There is nothing like seeing Chapman live. Reminds me of Billy Wagner when I was a kid.

Yes. Last held by Bruce Sutter in 1977.

I was just at Wrigley for a Reds/Cubs game. I was 10 feet from the Reds bullpen. I wanted sooo bad to see him get loose. Instead I get to see Sam fricking LeClure and Jumbo Diaz.

Went to a stros-reds game last year and saw a home run derby

It was great, Votto (my fave player) hit one and I thought I wildnt see chapman because of the lead but he hadn't worked in a few games so he closed like a 7 run game

The crowd was ooing and cheering when he would light up the radar in the outfield
