I will be moving into Baton Rouge from Prairieville in the next couple of weeks so I have to cancel Eatel and get Cox Internet, which I am not happy about.
I am looking at the plans and it looks like they make you rent a wireless modem from them. Is there a way around this? I have my own wireless router, which I am sure is 1000x times better than their wireless and I'd like to continuing using it.

Yeah, buy the SB6141 and use your own router. Don't use their shitty gateway.
