I have a group of 6 wanting to go deep sea fishing for 10 hours out of Orange Beach. I have been deep sea fishing many of times before but never out of Orange Beach. Any boat/captain suggestions? Thanks.

Best bet will be to swing by Zekes and see who has an opening. You can check their website for the fleet information so you can have an idea of the lineup.

I have been on Jamie G (36' Hatteras) and Class Act (52') and had pretty good trips on both.

My buddy's dad owns
Plane2Sea -2519812628

Not sure as to quality of service or size of his boat, but I know he is out of Orange Beach area.

I've been on a couple out of Zekes. If it's just a bunch of buddies wanting to go and catch a few fish and have a good time, any will probably be fine, they all have private numbers and all catch fish. I would go to the website and pick out the biggest, best looking boat. They have some pretty nice ones.

If you want to go hard core fishing, there are probably some fishing forums that would be a better help. Pensacola fishing forum has a lot of information and i'm sure they are in the know about Orange Beach.

Edit: I've fished Class Act before, great boat and nice captain. Also had a one legged mate. Thought he was a damn pirate.

I won't be their until July 26- Aug 2 so I have plenty of time to book. I have been deep sea fishing many of times and every once in while you get that a-hole capt or mate and they ruin the trip.
